Windows 7 - Windows 7 spotted at Walmart 3 days before release date

Windows 7 Upgrade Pro version spotted at Walmart tonight (OCT 18, 2009 @ 22:30).
However, it was not obviously on the right shelve and had no price but there was total of 3 retail boxes wrapped up in retail spider web. To see pictures see:

You should have scanned them, and found out how much!

Probably wouldn't been able to sale them. It looks as there just stored there until Oct. 22. The Walmart close to us also had them on a shelve, so I asked the salesperson when they were available for sale, and she indicated not until Oct. 22, and didn't know what the sale price was going to be though she did say they had all the different version in the back room.

Do you think they will time the shipment so pre-ordered disks arrive Oct 22? If not, when do you think?

Some people who ordered from PC world over here in the Uk have received their copies this morning.

Received my copy on Friday. Install (Ultimate), and purring like a sleepy kitten.

Depends on who you pre-ordered from.

Some pre-orders are already showing up within the last week or so. Others might not actually ship 'til the 22nd, if not even later. But supposedly MS was letting some things start shipping the last week or so so that they'd arrive by the 22nd at the latest. Just depends on from whom and where yours is coming from.
