I really can't help on this subject but what I do see is that the instances that appear to be duplicated do in fact have different dates, so are probably both necessary. But it really is beyond me I'm afraid. If they are doing no harm, they are small, so I would ignore them . If it aint broke, don't fix it!

The reason I am asking you guys is that I would expect an entry to show up once or maybe twice if it is for both x32 and x64, in this case I have three versions of something installed. Wouldn't surprise me if that was sort of wrong.

Perfectly normal. Various versions of the C+ programs for 32 and 64 bit programs on your machine and also update patches and security fixes for C+. Nothing to worry about. In the Region tab in Control panel I would check the date and clock settings out. Reset them to default and then see how it goes for a day or two. Then adjust the format how you like it. Do you have any 3rd party clock or tweaking programs that could be adjusting things for you?

See attached. This should fix your issue. (Hopefully) You can then reconfigure it the way you like it if you prefer.
open it in internet explorer and choose
Code:
Review the recorded problem steps as a slide show
For anyone not aware, I used the psr recorder to guide this fix.

Thanks. I will try a manual reset.

The slideshow doesn't seem to show for me, so I can make no use of it.

You mentioned you could not use the slide show what does this mean that you were unable to see the instructions at all? Were you able to follow them step by step? Like you were still able to use the instructions it's just the slide show would not work?

You expect me to be able to view it, I was unable to.

Did you use Internet Explorer to open it? It has to be Internet Explorer. Also make sure you download it to like your desktop or something and then open it.
Regardless, this is what you have to do:
In the bottom right hand corner right click and choose adjust date and time. Choose date and time settings. Then calendar settings. Then choose reset. Confirm and restart.

I will not simply run your file. Sry. Poorly explained anyway. I'll stick with my reset and see how that goes.

I am just trying to help. You do not need to be so rude about it. That is how you access the reset. Which should fix your problem. The file was simply a guide to show you visually how to do it.

Hi Andrew
Just to clarify here. I have just tried to open the link you posted in IE10 and it takes me to the Forum index page. No mention of a slideshow. Could you post the link in full please as I would like to view it to bookmark this in my Help system!
