Windows 7: Can I make USB drive open Windows Explorer view?

It seems to depend on what types of files are on the USB drive, if I keep a video file on it then it will auto open to folder view.

Exactly, which is what I was saying in my previous post. (Why the eyeroll?)

You want it to open explorer "No matter what is on it", and that option has been disabled in windows 7 for security reasons.
