    What is AutoRun and AutoPlay


    When I plug my USB in Windows 7 a Auto Play window appear that ask for General Options like (open folder to view files etc. ) but in Windows XP my USB directly open. Why.I want to Turn Off Auto run feature in Windows XP,How I can do this.

    On Some blog i find whenever USB is directly open that's may become bigger reason to infected the system due to infected USB, please tell me are they right.

    and also explain What is Auto Run and Auto Play

    You are right, that is why it was disabled in windows 7,

    You didn't ask how to disable autorun in Windows XP. I thought you were asking how to make Windows 7 autorun work like Windows XP, sorry.
