    Display Situation

Hello there viewers of Windows SevenForums,

Sorry but I wasn't sure which category to put my problem in but this was the closest category to my situation.
So I happen to get my laptop back from my very close relative and I've been told that the display screen on my Dell Latitude E5420 isn't working correctly. I've also been told that my friend did spill some water onto my laptop (this may be the cause of my problem). I'm not entirely sure where on the laptop he spilled it on.
The good thing is that my laptop is still usable but whenever I turn on my laptop; the screen is entirely black.
According to my documentation, I can turn it on, black screen, the fan is somehow very loud than usual and after at least 5 seconds. It shuts itself down. I assume maybe a wire is corrupted from the water spill?

I have opened my laptop and dissembled most of the parts of my laptop. Even separating the display screen from the main frame. BTW I have dissembled/assemble my laptop more than once.

Any questions or suggestions will be answered.
I can also upload pictures if needed.
