Heat Damage or Virus?

    thanks for the info britton, seems i am having no problems at all, doing a hard drive test right now withe seatools as you prescribed and modified my HD with cyrstaldisk like you said, but what did that do? lame man terms?

    also note my hard drive was yellow with caution untill i moved sliders to 0.

    side note, sfc scannow is working dskchk is working as well. havent even tried to run a recovery but i assume its working as well. every since roguekiller was run the virus is officially gone.
    going to let the hard drive go through its test while i sleep and see what errors i get

    I'd strongly recommend following my previous post, chkdsk is mainly for file system errors and can't see a lot of relocated and bad sectors.

    The standard for us is instantaneous response, never hangs, hesitates or bogs at all. Any less than that is compromising because Win7 will always perform that way with a perfect install on adequate tested hardware.
