Hi and welcome to the Forum,
What operating system was pre installed on your machine and have you got an installation disc for that version?

Have you got a Windows 7 installation disc? what do you mean you deleted the HD completely. You would not be able to delete all the windows 7 OS whilst still in Windows!

OK Go into the Bios of your laptop. change the boot order to put the CD/DVD drive first, put your Win 7 Disc in the drive, exit the Bios. If necessary pess your start button again and press any key when told to do so, then proceed witha fresh install!

I had a preinsatlled dos which was windows 7 and what I did was I took back or recovery in the discs and formatted the hard drive completely. First place I deleted the partitions and created partition. I then installed the windows 8 freshly. Now I am trying to use my recovery disc but unable to do that

So what are you trying to do. Now you have introduced windows 8 into the equation! If you have formatted the HD then do as I said in Post #6 or at least say why you cannot do that!

If you have windows sticker on the machine with an activation key then a clean install should not be a problem regardless of what disc/media you currently have
