IE 10 update ends up with code 9C59

    Hi friends,
as a many users before me, I have problem with Internet Explorer 10 update via Windows Update. Everytime instalation ends with error 9C59. I've tried also to download last IE10 package from official sites, and install it, but with no success. So I've tried to remove already installed older update package with IE10, and then install this new package, but same problem.

Next step was installation of SURT, and try to update again. It also doesn't work. SFC Scan was ok.

Can anyone please help me with it?

    Really nobody can help me?

Also please can any mod move this topic to Windows Update section? But I'm pretty sure, that I've started this thread in that section.

    Hi guys,
thanks, but none of your tips solved my problem, and I don't want to do clean install of my system. It's not an option. :)

    Do a Repair Install.
You will not lose any data or programs.

    This should fix the issue.

The following errors show in your CBS.log file...

I can see no signs of a recent SFC scan in the logs - please try running another, as it may give us more information.
    Post the new CBS.log file

Interesting - there are no obvious errors in the SFC log. but there are some serious errors (as shown above) in the background CBS log.
Unfortunately, I cannot find either the cat file that's referred to, or the FACILITY_NTSSPI error in any of my notes - which means that I'm currently out of ideas, and suspect that a repair install may be your best option.

That problematic part of CBS log looks very similar to part in this thread:

Cannot Install IE10 From Windows Update

I assume I can try same solution as in that thread. Or not?
