    Win 7 explorer drop down


    Hi there

    Is there any way to get old/proper functionality of the explorer drop down bar?

    Currently it shows me a (random?) history of locations. I haven't yet worked out how it decides what goes in there. And as such I find it pretty useless as 9/10 times where I want to go isn't in the list.

    I'd much rather it showed all my drives i.e. my file system hierarchy. I noticed in a SAVE box it behaves the way I would like.

    Please see attached thumbnails. I had to blank out a couple of details, but you should see what I mean.

    Solved : Managed to fix it - Classic Explorer has options I did not know it had : See screenie:

Everything seems to be working well however i have notice i dont have a history drop down in explorer.. is there a place to enable this? or is this a known bug.. See attached Any Idea?

in Customization

Win 7 doesn't seem to have an "Open With" option on the right click or shift right click menu for executables. What I frequently want to do is examine an executable with, for example, WinHex. I'm sure there is a simple registry fix but I can't find it. Help! Thanks
