thinking easiest way would be with a batch file were you would be able to write a delay in before the command to initiate the program
    eg timeout /t 120

    120 seconds = 2 minutes

if you are not familiar with batch files try googling it, it is fairly simple, can be created with notepad and set to run on startup
    heres a couple links

the scheduler could be a solution

so timeout /t 120 in bat file is the delay

thanks Maybe a command list would be usefull!

You could use "WinPatrol" free version. It has a simple to use "Delayed Start" tab.

That's how I do it too. Winpatrol is really handy for manipulating the startups and it has some other nifty features (e.g. keeps a watch on your registry). The free version of Winpatrol is totally sufficient.

Another option is Startup Delayer | r2 Studios Standard version is free. It's pretty straight forward and easy to set up.

These programs just activate a Windows function. The programs themselves do not actively participate in the startup process.
