Windows Explorer crashes even in safe mode CAUSE still unknown.

Currently i'm scanning with MSE on safe mode but from time to time the windows explorer crashes but the MSE scan isn't crashing and still proceeding in the scanning process.

I've tried sfc /scannow but it stucks at 44%

Right now i'm waiting for MSE to finish if its the cause is a virus/malware.

    Any suggestion if it isn't a virus/malware?

    I need help!

I haven't tried CHKDSK and System Restore yet cuz i can't even right click My Computer cuz of the WINDOWS EXPLORER crashing.

Note: A simple click on the start button or my computer crashes/restarts the Windows Explorer.

Hi and welcome to the Forum.
If you are Safe mode then the real time scanning of MSE is disabled so you are in danger of further attack. I would run MS Offline Defender from here if I were you.

(just opening apps , my computer, my docs, start button makes the WINDOWS EXPLORER restart).

See if you can do the following:

    1. Download and save this tool to your desktop:
    http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012

    2. Run the tool, and then click Copy - ignore any errors if they appear

    3. Use CTRL+V to paste the unedited results of the tool here in your next reply

I'll try btw i'm using another PC and the other pc is still undergoing SCAN with MSE.

Because a simple click of a program on my other pc makes the WINDOWS EXPLORER crash and restart.

I don't have an idea why MSE isn't crashing along with WINDOWS EXPLORER.

I wasn't talking about Windows Defender. Windows Defender Offline is an entirely different thing. If you click the link I sent you then all will be revealed!
