    Still on the RC...

    Hey there.

I'm still using 7RC. Do I miss anything from not upgrading (or clean install haha) to the RTM?

I don't know when I will be able to move to the RTM... depends if I'm able to do any money any time soon. But, that's personal matters.

Anyway, what do I miss while I'm staying on the RC?

Aside from any bug fixes between RC and Retail? Not much. RTM has no new features (that I can think of) that RC did not have.

The RTM doesn't expire and restart every 2 hours on March...

Doesn't the RC miss out on any updates that are made for the retail release?

I would assume so, why would MS bother supporting an OS that was only for testing purposes?

Then you better buy it. However you can not save the RC, it is going to slowly die on March. The RTM you can at least reinstall and rearm for another 120 days again and again.

I'm planning to buy... but I'm... only money short. A re-install loop isn't an option. I hate re-installing my own machine.
