Formatting C but C doesn't get cleaned

    You can choose delete or you can format the install partition ( in this case C ) either way it will remove the old operating system and any data you had on it.
    Oh I meant to say D, yes it is my dvd drive.

    By the way why should I take out my 2nd dvd drive before formatting?

    exactly like it says to do it in the blue link, so we can help you better.

    You need to unplug any other HD's during install, delete all partitions so that it becomes Unallocated Space, then create your partition and install to it.

    F is a Dynamic disk which is only meant to be used to span a partition across multiple HD's. Is that what it's doing? If not you can Convert a Dynamic Disk to a Basic Disk

    Unplug all other HD's to install Win7 to target HD, delete all partitions and create new during installl.
