Stuck in Startup Repair loop - Have tryed close to everything! :(

as you can tell im new to the forum. So HI! :)

last night i was browsing the web and my computer was acting strange so i decided to restart it (big mistake), i then installed some windows updates. Since then on i have not been able to do anything but go through this repetitive loop. ARRGH .

Things i Have tryed :
Safe Mode
Last known good config.
chkdsk
Sfc /scannow
bootrec.exe
used this :Startup Repair Infinite Loop Recovery

I still havent gotten a thing. Any help will be much appreciated. I will also like to say that im not sure this is the right topic :/. Thankyou In advance

I am not going to stop you doing anything above, but knowing from experience that a failing hard disk can throw your computer into this sort of problem - where everything what you have tried in your first post had failed just I experienced it, I would advise that you check your hard drive first with the manufacturer's diagnostic/repair utility.

In your case if as your Spec shows it is a Seagate, it will be SeaTools for DOS. Make a bootable CD with that ISO or create a bootable pen drive with Rufus, boot from it and run the short test.

If the Short test fails, then you know that there is a real problem with your HDD.

If the short test passes, then there is no problem with your HDD and you can go ahead with what Arc suggested. I have no other axe to grind.:)

As it says in the preamble to Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Boot if the HD is not detected in BIOS Setup when you boot into it using the key given on first screen, then test it using
Downloads | Seagate extended CD scan after burning the ISO to CD with Windows Image Burner.

However with failed Updates the first thing to try is to boot into System Recovery Options on the Win7 installer or Repair CD - System Repair Disk to run System Restore to a point before the Updates were installed.

In addition Startup Repair should be run from disk and not the auto-starting one you may be seeing, since it may be corrupt along with other System files. You will learn this as you work through the other steps in Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Boot
