How do I recreate a factory restore after its been deleted

I came across a few years back with my old pc that I had a virus that couldn't be deleted or cleaned from the factory restore partition so I had to delete it and just put one partition on the drive how do I make a factory restore partition so the computer doesn't need the disc all the time.

    Hello Craig,

You could do this below to manually create one, but it's not the same as the original factory recovery partition. However, if you like, I find using system images on a separate drive work best. This way you can pick up right where you left off from when the system image was created. Hope this helps, :)

The best Recovery is to do a perfect Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 (same for retail)
then save a Win7 backup image externally so you can reimage it using booted Win7 installer or Repair CD in 20 minutes.

It's not a good idea to keep the image on the same HD since it is needed if the HD dies.

If you want the inferior Factory Preinstalled Win7, then running the Recovery Disks should reinstall the Recovery partition in most makes/models. But most tech enthusiasts would not want or run such an install.
