    Validating Windows 7

Anyone been able to do this yet? When I go to the validation website nothing happens. Is it a problem at my end or could be the servers going into overload with everyone installing windows 7 today?

    Hi QuackPot,

    Do you mean online activation?

If so, then it's probably just overwhelmed right now as the others mentioned. I would wait to try again during a late offpeak hour.

I couldn't validate either, it just returned me to the initial page. I guess the system is not quite online yet. Just the graphic is.

I did an online activation today around 3 or so. Didn't have any problems but it did take a little bit longer than the key I entered the other day.

My understanding is that Windows Activation Technologies (successor to WGA) is not quite complete platform-wide. Installing Microsoft Security Essentials does, however, require this validation prior to installing.
