Is having two primary partitions ok?

    The system reserved partition is 350 MB for windows 8, as you said earlier.

    What you have to do is to delete both the system reserved and C. So there will be a free space to install windows. Now the installer will format the space and make the necessary partitions at its own, you need not to create any further partitions. Just let the installer run at its own.

    System partition? Will 80GB be ok?
    I run with 50GB, no problems here.

    But with large amount of ram, hibernate & virtual memory can use quite a lot of space. If you somehow encounter a tight space situation, here's my views on controlling disk usage > Worth moving TEMP folder to HDD with OS on SSD?. I keep an eye on free space, making sure always having at least 10GB available on the system disk. Search the forum (and the w8 forum), tons of good info available regarding system disk, disk usage etc.
