If you already have the RTM installed, you wouldn't need to upgrade anything. RTM is RTM.

    Hello Litium,

7600 RTM and Retail are the same versions as long as they are also both the same 32-bit or 64-bit version.

You cannot upgrade, but you can do a Custom or Clean install if you wanted to reinstall. Otherwise you have the same version already installed, and can just change the product key number to the retail one.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

It's your thread title that has everyone confused. In the title you refer to RTM, but in your actual post you refer to the RC, which are two different things.

You cannot upgrade from the RC to RTM.

Well actually, it turns out one can upgrade the RC to the RTM. See Microsoft's Engineering blog: Engineering Windows 7 : Delivering a quality upgrade experience for details on how to do it. I should note that while it's not officially supported, it does work, assuming one is going from RC Ultimate to RTM Ultimate.

What i meant eas that it was possible to upgrade from RC to Retail (I read it on a blog). I din't knew that 7600 RTM was the final.

Also, CS4 does not works for me :/
