    Windows 7 Enterprise


    Does anyone know if a KMS server is required for Win 7 Enterprise? If not, where can I find the docs from MS?

    No. You could install, activate, and run Windows 7 Enterprise just like any other Windows installation.

    We are looking to deploy Bitlocker but wasn't sure if a KMS server was required.

    Here's some more info on that to help a bit more.
    If this is just for the one PC, then you should be able to use BitLocker as usual. It just depends on if your system has a TPM or not for how to do it. The tutorials below can show you more to help.

i have installed win7 enterprise 32 bit, but i downloaded cpu-z to see if my processor supported 64 bit. it does now my question is can i install the 64 bit win7 enterprise on my system or do i need to wipe my hard drive to install the 64 bit OS
