    Windows 7 Battery Issues

    Hey, It's me again.
    I have another question.

I have a problem with my battery. The icon says "Plugged in, charging"
But, I'm not charge it. The battery loss 1% every minutes. I've stopped every programs that uses more battery power. And, the laptop was so hot even i've use it for only 10 minutes. Is there's something wrong? Maybe my laptop battery is leaking? Or, electricity problem? Or, there is shorting with the battery's electricity? Or maybe because I charge it too long, in last time I charge it?

Thanks, hope anyone can answer this.

Install SpeedFan to get temperature readings and enable variable fan speed if it's available, consider the other overheating steps, establish a Clean Boot from Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7.

Fill out the rest of your specs - at least the HP model number.

    Report back results.

HP's have the worst load of preinstalled crapware and duplicate utilties which interfere with better versions built into Win7. It's really the worst possible install of WIn7 which is why most tech enthusiasts prefer to Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7. At the minimum I'd Clean Up Factory Bloatware.

The temperature says it's only 47 degree celcius. But, I feel my laptop like overheating.
I will report another information soon after I get more info. Oh yeah, 47 is HD temperature. But, the core 1 and 2 is about 72 degree celcius.

    Thanks before.

Compare it with temps read by Core Temp which will also tell you the maximum CPU temps.

Continue with all other steps to go over your install, clean up the bloatware, consider getting a decent install which you don't have at all.
