Sounds like it may be a RAM problem? - you should test it using the procedures here...

The other thing that gets heavily stressed at boot is the power supply - how confident of yours are you?
What is the make/model of it?

The BIOS on your board seems to be a fairly old one - v1404 - you should consider updating to v1503 - ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download P5E3

Also ensure that all overclocking is switched off until the system is stable.

I've never updated an bios, also I removed my dvd drives cable to have barely to 0 cables in the case

Is it possible to update it from an usb stick?

You need to download the BIOS Utilities - AFUDOS Update tool as well as the BIOS update itself, then extract both files, and run the Utility. It should give instructions, and as far as I know it is all done in Windows.

Ye thanks, found it out myself yesterday. Update is succesful, gonna play some games now. I think the memory timings are causing the crashes

Aw, shoot!

I'm running out of ideas now - Please follow the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions and post the requested data (again?) and we'll see if anything jumps out at me - I'll also ask the guys there if they can assist.
