Windows 7 - Old Accounting Software-doesn't work with 64bit

| | Old Accounting Software-doesn't work with 64bit Just bought a new laptop. Old one died. I can't run my old One Write Plus Accounting software. Error says it doesn't run with 64 bit o/s. I bought a copy of windows 7 professional because it has an XP Emulation mode but if this accounting software won't work in either case, I'd hate to even open the package and blow $200. Any thoughts? |

If it ran on XP it should unless there is something special it requires. We have a ton of good people with VM. It might be a good idea to start a thread in the virtualization section. You will get a lot more exposure. Let us know if we can help Ken |

| | If the software is not running, it's likely 16 bit software. With a virtual machine (or XP Mode), you will be able to run it on the 32-bit VM as it's capable of running 16 bit software. |
