    Windows 7 "N" versions up on TechNet


    N versions of Starter, Home Premium, Professional, Ultimate and Enterprise were put on TechNet a little while ago. These are the "Not with Media Player" versions.

    I was wondering what the N was for. Why not include the media player?

    Can the media player be DL'ed and installed? Are they forcing silverlight on N versions?

    The "N" editions are required by the EU not to come with Media Player.

Hi there XP is definitely approaching it's death throes. On TechNet if you just search Operating systems or even Windows you won't find any XP versions for download -- however by actually searching for "Windows XP" explicitly you can get access to XP pro sp3 if you still need it - I'm running...
Where is all the talk about the download of the RC? Are Technet and MSDN subscribers able to download the official release of the RC? Isn't today the day? Is it any different than the leaked version? Sorry I posted this in "news" I didn't mean to post it here. Forgive me.
