Can I get thumbnail previews to permanently appear somewhere?

I am looking to have certain taskbar thumbnail previews appear on a 2nd monitor, in grid formation, as a way to monitor the activity of all the programs at once.

I need the previews to stay active and open whether the program is minimized or maximized.

Thanks,
MC

Well if you were a programmer you could write this yourself by interfacing the DWM to get the thumbnails you wanted. But seeing as your case is highly unique finding a pre-made solution is very unlikely. It is not a question if its possible but rather, who else wants, what you want.

Thumbnail Previews
I know Windows 7 comes with thumbnail preview like Windows Vista, but since I installed it it's only given the names of the open programs when I scroll over it versus the thumbnail photo. I didn't change any of these settings and I researched on how to change it. Most say to search "GPEdit.msc" and...

How turn off thumbnail previews
I am finding that the new thumbnail previews are, to me, more distracting than helpful. Is there a way to turn them off?
