Options covering the screen

    I would check the startup programs. Maybe the bugger is hiding there.

    Where do I look at the startup programs and what bugger?

    Go to msconfig > Startup tab. That will show all startup programs. Best is you make a snip and post that here. Maybe together we can find the bugger. Make sure you snip all startups - if neccessary with 2 snips.

    You can also use Winpatrol. That is a lot more convenient because you can expand the presentation window. Winpatrol also has some other good features that might be handy.

    Unbelievable, what a mess. I would disable everything except AVG and WinPatrol. All the rest need not start at boot time.

    Done.

    I found out the game called "Aion" is what's causing this probably because it's always after I start the game the overlay thing will get stuck.

    What's weird is that it only gets stuck at one spot on the screen, so I take skype to the very bottom right corner of my screen and make it get stuck there and it doesnt bother me as much but it's still annoying
