I feel like my computer not working correctly

I know that it can sound crazy, but I have my Laptop for 'bout 4 yrs now, and it worked pretty good till i had Windows 7 Home Premium x86, but week ago i upgraded it to Win7 Ultimate, and a PC dude said that it was a good PC, there are no problems, but now i feel like it started to handle things pretty bad (it takes time till it loads or loads a program.. that happended sometimes, but not always)... So I'm just curious, if i should do something...
Thanks in advance !

Just curious: why did you upgrade to W7 ultimate? What feature did you need?

Maybe this information will help:

Yes maybe you can show us the features you needed which caused you to pay all that extra for Ultimate when otherwise its the exact same OS: Compare Windows 7 Editions - Windows 7 Forums

If not I would reinstall the licensed OS which came with the PC instead of wasting a $100+ license. This time follow the steps to get and keep a perfect Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7.

My father was planning on buying a new computer, and he thought that you need to buy windows separately, so he bought windows 7 ultimate, and after few days, he bought computer and it was with windows 8, so he didnt used Win7 Ultimate, so instead of just reinstalling my Windows 7 HP, I installed Windows 7 Ultimate, because i thought it will be a bit different (i wanted to check)...

Thanks for the link, I appreciate it !
Actually it kinda helped.. It increased my Laptop performance by little (still better than nothing)..
What I did was Turned off Disk Defragmenter schedule, fully defragmented all drives, I enabled High Performance in Power Plan, and scanned my pc for registry errors (it actually found about 9000 errors)...
So.. Much appreciate it ! I Luv u guys for helping !

This is very very worry some. You do not get that many registry errors with a proper fresh installed Windows 7. Something is not adding up.

What did you use to scan your registry?

I used TuneUp registry cleaner..

Sounds like what's done is done, but with a proper clean install and W7 in general using a registry cleaner of any type is a waste and will do much more harm then any good.....just saying.

My suggestion would be to do another clean install.

The people who write (and sometimes sell) these registry cleaners know that the more errors that they report, the better the product will appear to the user. If I wanted my product to appear better than the one that you used, I would have it report finding 9900 errors. Do you see the problem here? Apps can report errors that do not exists or (even worse) report/remove errors that are not errors.

Run a performance benchmark app several times
...record the average, then "clean" the registry.

Run that same performance benchmark app several more time
...the average will not show any significant increase in performance.

You could fill the registry with tons of garbage and you (as a user) will never notice it. The registry cleaner built into CCleaner is a conservative cleaner - sort of a placebo if you will - that we prescribe to those obsessed with cleaning the registry.

Yes, there are times when things need to be cleaned from the registry (like when an uninstall fails), but automated tools can be a dangerous way to do that. It would be best to use custom uninstallers for such registry cleanups.
