    "The User Profile Service failed the logon" help?


    I try to login and it shows"The User Profile Service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded."

    I have looked at other threads showing your options when it comes to this. I have tried these but end up falling short of completing these because apparently my computer lacks the file "regedit" which allows for registry changes and such. Is there any way it can get this file? Any help on the whole situation would be great too.

    Hello Scott, and welcome to Seven Forums.

    You might see if the tutorial below may be able to help. Be sure to read all of it for all available options.
    All editions of Windows has Registry Editor. It will be the "C:\Windows\regedit.exe" file.
