    C:\Users\<username>\System Corruption\* Folder

    Looking for some direction...

For some time I've noticed a folder (System Corruption) within my UserName on my boot unit. Is there anyone out there that can provide info as to where/why this folder has come to exist?

    Thanks in advance,
    Lairbear

Yes , that's a new one to me also. Heres a tutorial on how to post a screen shot here at the forums. Just click on the link.

If you're having problems you think may be caused by corrupted system files you could run a sfc/scannow to check and possibly repair any corrupt files. We have many fine tutorials here at the forums, written by some extremely talented people. Here's one on running a sfc/scannow if you haven't done that before. Again, just click on the link.

It's located under C:\Users\<username>. So not a system folder, but created by you. Not an important folder.
