Adding a Folder to the Start Menu

Alright, so, I have this folder called "Notes" (3 guesses what's in it ) in my Documents library.

I want to pin it to my start menu - but not on the left side where "Pin to start menu" puts it - but on the right side, where Music, Videos, etc. show up.

    Screenshot:

I tried dragging it to the right but all that does is offer to add it to one of the folders already on there.

Anybody have any ideas how to add custom folders to the list? Or do I have to make it its own Library? Or what?

You could put it in 'quick launch'. That is on the right side next to the clock now.

You should be able to create a new Library named 'Notes'. The libraries are shown on the right side like you want.

EDIT: Ok, that didn't work for me like I thought, but...
you can still rename one of the existing libraries, editing the properties of said library to include the location(s) you want. Then in start menu properties you can select to have it displayed.
