    constant diskchecks

When I do a restart with 7 pro, there is always a diskcheck done. It doesnt actually find anything wrong - just works through it and then finishes up. More annoying than anything else (I hope).
Can anyone tell me if there is a reason for this? Or if there is something that I can do to switch it off?
    thanks

Hello SoccerDoc, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You might also see if doing only the STEP THREE section in the tutorial below to reset chkdsk may be able to stop this for you.

    Hope this helps,
