Hotkeys & Win7 : where stored ? How modify when explorer not able ?

    Hi

I have assigned many hotkeys to allow fast access to most used software : for example ctrl-alt-shift-V for ViewNX2

I hade Ctrl-Alt-Shift-X for DXO Optics Pro. Now installed new version adn impossible to assign that hotkey combination !

Hotkey Detective does not list that combination as assigned so it should be usable. When I try to assign it, Windows clears the input immidiately

In the same order of problems ctrl-alt-shift L or U launch teh same program. If I try as should be to asign the L combo to Lightroom it is again not possible !

    So :
    - where is the problem ?
    - any way to access where they are stored to modify them there ? ( looked in registry but not found)
    - any way to clear all of them and reassign from scratch ( but not clear the Win Key or windows and program specifiic hotkeys

TIA to all experts here !

Need more info. What do you see (what happens) when you try to assign the hotkey?

I type ctrl, alt, shift and it is displayed in the inputbox for the hotkey in properties.
As soon as I type the X the box is cleared and nothing happens. If I input another, not used letter it works ( but of course I want the X ...)

What happens if you assign the shortcut key using the W7 operating system?
