Other user's files coming up in start menu search

There are several accounts on my PC and when I use the search bar in the start menu, it finds files from the other accounts. How can I make it only search through my account? Thanks!

Welcome adrianapeach49 to the windows 7 forum.

The reason you see them is because your logged on as administrator. You can see everything. The only way to correct
that so that only your files show up is to use a reduced security account.

I want to customize my start menu search. In Vista, I just told the indexing service to search only in the start menu folder, and monitored the folder myself (added and removed shortcuts as I wish). It was great, and it replaced Launchy very comfortably. I made shortcuts to folder locations on my...
