I want to buy the upgrade version as a download, but I have some questions? Can you please help me? Thanks
a) Is the downloadable version multilingual?
b) Can I use the upgrade version as a new clean install?

All versions are multilingual in the sense that you can choose what language to use at installation, but only Ultimate (and Enterprise) can switch back and forth among different languages, is my understanding.
The upgrade version can do clean installs, but you are supposed to have the appropriate qualifying prior version of Windows installed. Once it sees that, you can go ahead and do a clean install with the upgrade version.

Upgrade Install with Windows 7
You can do a CLEAN install with the UPGRADE version and you do not need an old OS anywhere.... The clean install is so that you can install when you HAVE NO OS on your current (like a new HDD) sytem. or buy a new computer and have NO OS installed.
You're welcome. You probably are all set for enjoying W7 but just to be sure you should probably run the "W7 compatibility upgrade advisor" (or something like that :)) available for free download from Microsoft. Just googling it should provide a link. It will tell you if you have any hardware or apps that are not compatible. But sounds like your system will run 7 just fine. If you had Vista before, you should find that 7 is quite a bit snappier with faster startup and shutdown.
