script in heat
Hmmm. Now having another problem with a script that is evidently in rut. I keep getting the message:
A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.
My screen gets overlayed with a rather opaque whitish waxlike "film" until I click the "stop script" button. It happens mostly on Yahoo the Finance main page, and during emailing. The script is much longer than the one that I have condensed below the message bolded above. I've run Microsoft Essentials and a couple programs from Iobit but with no success. Can anyone suggest what might be happening?
