Need Help With Gpedit (Got Locked Out)
I was following security tips I found and one of the tips was about User Policy elevation. All works fine, but then I install XAMPP and although I can run it, I have to use Admin account every time, so I want to change it so I can run XAMPP with regular account.
That is just the beginning of the problem (the first sentence could be related though).
The real problem is; I opened Gpedit >>> run only specified windows applications and enabled and put XAMPP.exe there. Turned out, even with my Adminstrative account I locked out from every programs including Gpedit and command prompt. Right now, I can only open "Run" and "Task Manager" (have to hit Ctrl + Alt + Del first).
What can I do to solve it? Thanks in advanced.
PS: I have followed the instruction here
windows 7 - Locked myself out of Group Policy Editor - Server Fault
and none of it works.
