hard drive partition

    hard drive partition


    my hard drive is split into two partitions C and D they are both the same size 232 and 232 respectively the D drive is HDD recovery which is only using +/- 21 gig's how do i transfer say about 200 gigs of unused space from the D partition to the C partition without corrupting and loosing the recovery section on the D drive???

    that picture is of the "my computer" page,

    the page brink would like to see can be found by goin to control panel/ administrative tools/ then click computer management,
    in the window that opens then look on the left side then select disc management, you may have to click storage to see the disc management .
    when you have that page you need to make a screenshot of the window to post here,
    this tutorial below will show you how to do that, if you get stuck or get lost then just ask.

    Just to be safe the 21G is most likely your Recovery Partition for that PC...
    Follow the manuf. guide for creating the CD/DVD's for it and store them in a safe place...

    I would do this 1st before any re-sizing operation as things can and do go wrong.
