    Window size is not remembered

Why "suddenly" are all my windows opening at less than full screen? No matter what I click on, My Docs, favorite websites, etc., there's now a gap at the bottom of the screen. What did I do to cause this and what can I do to fix it? Annoying to say the least.

    Hello Barnum,

If you maximize the window, is the gap still there?

I can maximize ALL my windows, but why do I have to do it constantly? Used to be once you maxed it it stayed that way next time you opened it.

Just checking to see if you may have had an issue with the display aspect instead.

As far as why is anyone's guess. You may have possibly closed a window like that, and it was applied to all. It could be from a number of unknown reasons.

If you maximize the window and close it, does it open maximized again?

If not, then manually resize the window borders to fill the screen, and close it to see if it's remembered afterwards.

If still not, then you might see if resetting folder views back to default, and see if it will remember how the window was when last closed afterwards.

How do you have your Taskbar set? It sounds almost like it's leaving a gap for the Taskbar. Is it at the bottom? Is it set to AutoHide?
