Windows 7: 4770K - Asus STZ87 Windows Explorer Stopped

4770K - Asus STZ87 Windows Explorer Stopped

On a M6E Z87 I had and with the two different Sabertooth Z87's I get "Windows Explorer has stopped working do you want to restart" error messages. This is with Windows7

I have never had this error message on four other PC's I use with Windows7, only on PC's with a 4770K and Z87 motherboard.

It seems to usually happen:
1- after I close Win Exp or:
2- after I eject a USB drive or:
3- after I close the recycle bin.

It can also happen if I am switching between two open windows of Windows 7 Explorer a lot.

Googling this on the net really did not offer any solutions. Most solutions pertain to getting this error when you right click on a folder and that does not relate at all to when I get the error because I am not right clicking on a folder when I get the error.

I did put a check in "Always show icons, never thumbnails" in Win Exp view options, but that did not fix it.

Does anyone else get this and did you fix it or does anyone else with a 4770K, an Asus Z87 motherboard and Windows7 get this error message all the time?
