PC powers on but nothing displays half of the time.

    Hi all,

So up until about a week ago my PC worked perfect. Now, when I turn it on, about half of the time I won't receive a signal via hdmi or vga. Both of the monitors are fine. I am basically forced to shut down and try again until it displays, and if it displays the pc works fine.

What could be the issue here? I've updated mobo drivers, installed all updates, and have clean installed nvidia drivers and even the beta drivers.

    Thanks for any help!

    Running 3570k, gtx 760, gaz77d3h mobo, 12gb RAM, 1tb seagate hdd, 750w psu.

Have you attempted to login remotely, thereby bypassing your video card?
Have you attempted to swap-out your video card with another?
If you are using the a video built in to the motherboard, try installing a second video card. BIOS settings might be set to use the integrated video, but you may be able to reset your BIOS settings to the defaults to allow the 2nd video ared to be used.

    Hi,

Do you get any beeps when you turn on the system? Try reseating the RAM sticks. RAM might be loose and causing the issue.
