Can't get Linux on usb to boot window 7

Hello all my first post in this forum I've installed Linux mint "Petra" Cinnamon on a usb using UNeboenotin but when I went to restart it went to my login window screen. When I reboot and press F2 it goes to the bios and boot where i can change the boot sequence and other options i have 4 options but i don't know what I'm doing in there and I don't want to screw things up. There is a option to boot to usb as one of the 4 options. What I'm trying to do is to be able to choose between booting to usb when I have it pluged in or booting to my normal login screen but I don't know if it's possible to do this. Any help will be appreciated. I've filled in the information about my computer on this site so if you need any info about it its available.

Go to F12 during the boot phase. There you can change the boot order easily.

F2 is for permanent changes in the BIOS. But I don't think you want to do that.

f12 didn't work. f2 has the options for boot as well as BIOS in the boot section there are 4 options all of which are disabled a couple of them even have the pny which is the usb i have i just don't know what the options are telling me and if ii pick one and enable it will it go though that option then my log in screen and if i don't have a usb stick installed will ite go to my log on screen and if all the options are disabled what is my boot sequence now?

I think for asus laptop you use the Esc key to enter the boot menu. If not try Del or ins

You're doing something wrong.....I use the ESC key on my ASUS to select booting from a live Linux USB all the time. Try building the Linux USB using different tool.......try YUMI
