My Login Information Is Not Valid?

I am trying to schedule a task for Acronis True Image Home 2010

I have noticed this before come up asking me for login name and password.

I presume this has something to do with UAC but I am not sure what I should be using. I would rather not have to use a login name and password each time to schedule a task. How do I remove this requirement from Windows 7 ?

It's annoying me.

Acronis TI requires admin rights to run. You need to enter the username/password for an account with administrator rights. This looks like it is an Acronis wizard and not the windows task scheduler. You should only need to enter a password for those scheduled items that require admin rights to run.

Also, please do not double post. It won't get your question answered any faster and makes more work for the site administrators.

I believe that the Acronis wizard is just a front-end for the Windows Task Scheduler here. And the Task Scheduler has required a password to work reliably since the days of XP.

To add what Usasma said, isn't it also so that you have to use credentials of an administrative account? I mean, if you start this from a limited account, you need give credentials of an administrator? Or have I misunderstood that?

What I don't want to use a username and password ?

I don't even remember setting a username and password for Windows 7 , where do I find this? I have looked under User Accounts and found this. So having a username and password for Task Scheduler to function is mandatory ?

I keep putting the username as Towle and a password (even though I never actually set one) in the boxes but the same error message occurs.

I have put a password in my administrator account now. So when I wish to schedule Acronis TI, should I now enter the username Towle and the password I have created as administrator?

OK thanks everyone I think I have fixed it by putting in my username and password and using the same credentials in my Acronis TI

I have it now scheduled to run every night with "incremental" backup
