clock repair

My clock (the value of which is displayed on the task bar at the bottom of my screen, on the right) does not work right any longer, after the discharge of the battery, I believe. It is overly slow. What can I do ? And by the way what is the name of this clock ?

Welcome to the forums!

You could try a sfc/scannow, to look for and repair damaged system files. We have many excellent tutorials here at the forums, here's one on how to do that if you haven't before. Just click on the link : SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

Or have you tried a system restore to a point before this started?

Have you synchronized your clock with the internet to keep the time current?

Internet Time Synchronization

Click "Start" button > Control Panel > Clock,Language, and Region > Date and Time. Click on "Internet Time" then "Change Settings". Choose "Automatically synchronize with an Internet Time Server", select the server you want and click OK.
