    Minimize Maximize Close Button Editing



    Hi. I have a windows 7 laptop and i dont like the look of the minimize buttons. Would i be able to edit it to make it look like Win8, Mac OS or even Chrome OS? Please Help, Least Downloading Possible. Thanks

    Welcome to the Seven Forums

    You will need to edit the Steam image 971 in the aero.msstyles with a resource hacker and a image editor of your choice (look at the screenshot I have provided will show the locations of those buttons)

    I would recommend that you start a new theme from scratch so you do not corrupt the original look at Post #38 Here it will show you how. This becomes a custom theme.

    You will need to do 1 of these 2 ways of Enabling custom themes for it to work.

    Hey, i just tried this again after getting a hp 2000-420CA, but now UxStyles isnt working for me. i installed the files, extracted them then downloaded the 64 bit. after than i rebooted but it didnt work. Help? it says it is installed its just i can open it. Thanks, Vultraz02.
