Seeing right mouse messages after doing a certain actions [unresolved]

    Hey all,

Here to share some annoying stupid issue I'm having of late. I had a game that didn't work on my pc and tried to get it to work and found a work around but as a result created the issue I'm having now.

I have had it for some weeks but didn't get around to reporting it here or someplace else because even when screenshotting it didn't appear on the screenshot until now.

Whatever action I do like clearing my trash bin or copying something it then appears. Not always the same message. It depends on what my last mouse action has been. I see what you see below everywhere I go. But when I fire up a video game it is gone and when I exit it is also still gone until next time after a mouse click. Sometimes when doing certain mouse actions I don't got any issues other times I have.

I hope someone knows what to do... I really got no clue what triggered this.

Have you tried a system restore?

Sadly its to long in the past and I would simply loose to much data and windows updates I did from restoring to a certain point. Its all a bit foggy to say the least in relation to when I started tweaking settings.

Is there anything else I can do?

Can you find the instructions for the 'work around' and undo them?

I acted on what I could google. Tried many things. I could try doing a clean boot? As I remember to have edited stuff in msconfig.exe and have un-installed Asus Gamer OSD which I re-installed afterwards.

But the problem is that it takes a while and sometimes happens at random this issue.

Let's see what's actually going on ... Download DDS from one of these links:
    DDS.com
    DDS.pif
    • Disable any script blocking protection
    • Double click the dds icon to run the tool.
    • When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
      1. DDS.txt
      2. Attach.txt <--- will be minimized in the task tray
    • Save both reports to your desktop.

Include the contents of both logs in your next post.
The scan will instruct you to post Attach.txt as an attachment.

    Hello,

I am sorry but I just added both as an attachment. Hope that is alright?

    Regards,
    Matt.

This appears to have been resolved by removing the program TerraCopy. I re-installed it and the error didn't occur again. Really odd stuff. That program worked fine until I started messing around to get that one game to work.

Thanks for posting the solution and for helping any other members or anyone who googled.

    Have a great day!

The error has returned! << I even removed the program (Teracopy) but that doesn't keep the error from occurring.

So sadly I had to mark this to unresolved.
