Can you load 2 family computers man & wives in one house and the third one (Fathers) in a second house ??
These Computers are all running Vista.

    Hi Cando777

    3 licences, 3 PC's, 1 Household.

Dad could move in, then move out.

I would say once it is activated the computer can reside anywhere, otherwise you couldn't travel with a laptop with family pack installed.

My understanding is that the Family Pack is just a way to sell three licenses. While the supposition is that they all will be in the same house, as has been said once activated they can be used anywhere.

That said, it follows that they do not need to all be in one place when they are activated - the activation doesn't check the external (or internal) IP address.

So, to answer the original question, you can activate yours and then go over to Father's house and activate his. (Or, you can invite him and his computer over for a nice meal and activation party... :) )

You're welcome Cando777, and I'll stay put in Txeas at least through the Winter - Canada gets too cold for these old bones... :)

    Hi there
Confirming - computers can be used anywhere once activated.

I agree Canada is far too cold -- so is Minnesota -- Iceland never gets that cold believe it or not -- long winter nights but often only around -3 dec C at least in Town -- Balmy by Canadian standards.

    Cheers
