Aero Snap problem I am having a minor trouble with the Aero snap feature. When using certain applications (Word, Skype) I am able to maximize the window by dragging the window to the top - but I am not able to restore it by dragging it down, it stays put. I have to hit the restore button on the top right corner everytime I have to restore the window to the original size or if I want to snap it to one of the sides.
Anyone has faced this before ?

Just tried this a few times with Word and it works fine, but i'm using 2010, can't confirm if 2007 has an issue. | My System Specs

Ezhilk, I tried this with Skype and can confirm what you said. Here's a tutorial to show how to turn Aero Snap on or off. Tried that, didn't fix the issue.
It seems it is rather a Skype than Windows issue.

Thanks Kari. You are right, turning off the snap doesn't help at all.
And this problem happened only after I did a clean installation of 7. Previously, I upgraded from Vista and the snap feature worked flawlessly. I thought a clean install will improve the performance. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Lenovo Ideapad Y510 OS Windows 7 Home Premium 32 Bit CPU Intel Core 2 Duo 5750 2.00 Ghz Memory 4 GB Graphics Card NVidia GeForce 8600M GT Sound Card Realtek HiDef Audio Keyboard Logitech S510 Wireless Hard Drives Internal 320 GB

an update for MS Office fixed the issue with Word, although the problem with skype remains. So I guess its an application issue rather than the OS, as you mentioned. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Lenovo Ideapad Y510 OS Windows 7 Home Premium 32 Bit CPU Intel Core 2 Duo 5750 2.00 Ghz Memory 4 GB Graphics Card NVidia GeForce 8600M GT Sound Card Realtek HiDef Audio Keyboard Logitech S510 Wireless Hard Drives Internal 320 GB

i have the same problem but it's with all my windows, including explorer, firefox...
is there something i can do? im using win 7 ultimate 32bit on a dual screen display. what i do not understand is that when i switch to my projector (single screen) it works fine. so it may have something to do with my dual screen setup. | My System Specs

as for skype, i thought it was not working but to solve that just go to tools-> options -> general settings and change the visual style of the window to classic windows
interestingly enough though it is not working with MS word.
Hope this helps | My System Specs
