    Printing pdf-files

Used to print pdf-files but suddenly can not. Otherwise my HP LaserJet 1018 works fine. Have checked the drivers, restarted the computer, etc. But still cannot print pdf-files (which worked quite recently...)
    Really appreciate any suggestions...

Uninstall Adobe Reader and install the latest version from the official Adobe site, avoiding any crapware it offers to add in. Adobe - Adobe Reader download - All versions

There should be no reason a good install of Reader should not print just like any other file type.

Yeah, Adobe has their own "crapware" to add. Be sure to read the entire install screens; even from Adobe.

Hello Roffe. Welcome to Seven Forums.

    As gregrocker said...

However, there are PDF readers that are not so big as Adobe's PDF Reader:

And that Reader's reported size does not add up to its real size :-(

Sumatra PDF reader is not for everyone. If you need to type inside a PDF, then Sumatra is not for you,

More info here: Free PDF Reader - Sumatra PDF

There are plenty of alternatives to Adobe's reader. Alternatives that don't try to do so much and therefore are less prone to security flaws.

Foxit is a good choice too.

A bit big at about 100MB - but you can type inside of PDFs.

And Foxit still has this issue:

One workaround can be found here:

Another good freeware PDF viewer is PDF-XChange Viewer. You can annotate and OCR for free as well.
