Undefined icon beside "Open" when EXE file is selected

The icon beside "Open" (upper-left) is undefined. This only happens for EXE files.

It seems it has been a problem since early Win7 days based from this post (#5).

The same issue is when I open Windows Explorer and I click on a program (.EXE file). The icon right next to "Open" at the top toolbar is the default icon if it couldn't find the program, like the one you see in the screenshot above.

I hope this gets fixed in Service Pack 1 or another Windows 7 update.
I do not have problems with my desktop icons, just the one above.

    Any workaround for this?

    Hi maxie,

It's the same for every EXE file I select.

It's not the icon of EXE file, but the icon beside "Open" is the problem.
