    Agree you'd want at least 2gb RAM on there first, then compare your install with the one in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 since you may have the bloated Dell factory preinstall on there which can be replaced going from one of the worst installs to the best.

My laptop is Asus u45jc-a1 i3 m370 @ 2.4 ghz processor 8gb ram that is upgraded from 4gb ram 250gb ssd samsung that was upgraded last year from a 7200 rpm 500gb hard drive. I will be using this primarily for online poker and using software that uses memory and space.

I want to purchase a laptop for my daughter. She will use it for Facebook and listening to music. Anyone have any recommendations? I have heard bad things about HP and some negative about Dell. I want to spend about $400-$500.
