Windows 7: Computer's properties window disapears

Ok thanks, I'll try both ot these options. I've just reinstall windows 7, maybe that is the reason.
And also, every time I do the "right click properties on computer menu, then everything close" my computer does a sound, (a hardware sound), the same that when I change the power plan (I guess that's the HDD changing speed or something like that...)

AS you mentioned a recent install, please also post a Disk Management screenshot: Disk Management - Post a Screen Capture Image

If you cannot right click Computer - type Disk Management into the Search box on the start menu.
The top most result should be: Create and format harddisk partions
Click on that and it should launch Disk Management

I do not want you to make any changes there, just post a screen shot of the window - follow the tutorial above.

They did not work or they did not solve the problem?
10 WMI -> only affects that event - the MS Fixit should have worked

11 Disk -> Chkdsk should have worked, it might not have solved the issue.

Please elaborate and thanks for the screenshot.

I'm going to ask for help on this
- your System Reserve partion is just a Primary Partition ("normally" it will also be flagged as System & Active)
- your C: partition is Active, System, and Boot
This is not necessarily wrong or bad, but a member more knowledgeable on this subject will certainly help.

They worked, but they solved nothing.

The MS Fixit said it was successfull, but nothing changed.
The CHKDSK found no errors too.

I don't elaborate alot because english isn't my primary language, I can understand 100% of what you say, but it is way harder for me to write\talk than to listen\read...

Thanks, I use http://translate.google.com/#fr/en/ sometimes. It's an extra step and not 100% gramatically correct (neither am I ), but the concepts seem to get through.

Type what you want to say in the left box, translate to English, copy the text in the right hand box to your post here on the forum.

If you need to convey more detail, it's a great tool.

Happy New Year Fellow Members!

I have found that this link to Google translate to be helpful. It can be hard to locate: Google Translate

The translation can leave a lot to be desired.........

I am off to have the traditional first day meal of pork and sauerkraut with all the trimmings while I watch the outdoor NHL Hockey game, see you later this evening!

May you and yours enjoy the New Years blessings!

Steve

Happy New Year Chers collègues!

MS Fixit -> housekeeping only, it fixed an erroneous event log entry for WMI

Chkdsk - > glad to see that the HD did not have any errors. Could you expand one of the event log entries (error 11 Disk) and see what it's complaining about. I often get them when my ext HD is attached - but I don't see other drives in your Disk Management screen shot.

Also, some software like Debut (screen capture software) and skype stopped working... That is a really weird problem...
It think it started just after I reboot my computer after installing new drivers for my 7670m using iobit driver booster...
